A specialist art handling collection is available for students to use, including vintage and antique military uniforms, civilian fashions and ephemera. All sessions include objects from our handling collection and are accessible to all ages and abilities.

Royal Armouries Museum Director Steven Burt, made it through as a finalist to this years Spirit of Leeds Awards having made a wonderful contribution to Leeds for over quarter of a century and, importantly, continuing to do so.

1. Beyond Calculation
Throughout the month of November the names of the 10,000 men from Leeds who’s lives were lost during the First World War will be read out.
2. Remember, Reflect, Re-act
This month is an opportunity to think about the way people’s lives have been affected by war, both in the past and through to the present day.

The 90th Anniversary of Armistice Day.
